Koch Companies is looking for an
Equipment Manager who’s ready to take ownership of our fleet from end to end. You’ll be the go-to expert for managing our tractors and trailers throughout their lifecycle. From initial assignment to final sale, you’ll ensure every piece of equipment is tracked, maintained, and utilized in a way that supports our operational and financial goals. You’ll work closely with Maintenance, Operations, Recruiting, Safety, and external vendors to keep our fleet efficient, compliant, and ready.
Location: Golden Valle, MN (onsite)
Salary Range: $70,000 – $74,000+ per annum (commensurate with experience)

What You'll Do
You’ll manage the lifecycle of every asset: allocating, tracking, troubleshooting, and selling.
- Keep Tractor and Trailer Reports up to date with accurate status and location
- Assign equipment to drivers and divisions in collaboration with Ops and Safety
- Monitor utilization and mileage to support timely redeployment or resale
- Troubleshoot issues related to assignments, tracking devices, or onboard tech
- Recommend resale pricing based on market data and equipment condition
- Coordinate sales, including buyer communications, invoicing, and fund collection
- Partner with Maintenance on turn-ins, repairs, and resale prep
- Analyze and act on equipment KPIs to drive better performance
- Oversee trailer asset tracking, auditing, and sale activity
- Support long-term equipment strategy in partnership with key departments
Knowledge And Skills To Be Successful
- 2+ years of customer service experience
- 1+ year of experience in the transportation industry
- Strong Excel and Microsoft Office skills
- Confidence managing multiple tasks and resolving issues independently
Preferred, But Not Required
- Associate degree
- 3+ years of customer service experience
- 2+ years of transportation experience
- Knowledge of diesel truck maintenance and fleet operations
- Basic mechanical aptitude

About The Role
The salary grade for this position ranges from $67,067.90 - $95,221.20 per annum. While offers will be based on experience and qualifications, the targeted pay range for this role is $70,000 – $74,000+ (commensurate with experience).
